Rhiain is a British landscape photographer who lives in the Lot Valley. Growing up in an artistic family, she was educated in France and the UK, where she gained a Masters with distinction in Critical Theory and a diploma in horticulture from the RHS, refining her understanding of plant life. Rhiain studied black and white film photography before moving to digital. Rhiain’s recent collection of work, both a photographic and research project, centres around a small and mysterious local valley with a rich prehistoric, medieval, and agricultural history. Her work is part of a growing field of ecological photography that is in dialogue with ideas around the Anthropocene. She exhibits and sells internationally, has photographs in private collections, and takes commissions. As well as courses, Rhiain offers one-to-one creative workflow mentoring to support artists in developing cohesive bodies of work,  to prepare exhibitions and to develop their artistic reach.
